The #1 Way to Accomplish Goals

Posted By Lori Painter on Jan 6, 2012 | 9 comments

Alright, alright! I’ll admit it. I have gained 10 pounds… and ya know what…. I am doing things differently this time around. Check out my video below where I share what really has made the difference between the goals that I accomplish and the goals that I do not.

And, if one of your goals is to lose a few extra pounds you just might dig my bikini body program coming this spring.

How do you make sure you accomplish your goals? Share it with me in the comments below!

Always,

  1. Hi Lori,

A very good New Year to You.

A brilliant video, so inspiring, because latley i have been focusing on the negatives of my life, so much so that they become such a burden.

I have developed a health programme which i want to launch, but i find no one wants to listen,i dont even know how to share it, and i also feel something is holding me back !.

Anyway Lori i am researching how EXPECTATIONS can have positive and negative effects on our lives aswell as  how we view other people and events.

I an going to take your advice and see where it leads me, However from this video i have just realised i have so much yet to learn.

Love, peace, and good health Lori Painter.

    • Hey there!

We all know what it feels like to focus on the negatives and I agree…. it is a burden. It’s as if we are doubting that what we are experiencing is part of the journey.

Remember when I suggested you start a blog a few months ago? I know that if you shared your vision of health and all your great ideas that people will LISTEN to you and want your health program. It does take time, but it is soooo worth it! Blogging has given me a platform to be fully expressed and it deeply fulfills me. I think everyone who loves to share would enjoy having a blog!

Look at what you feel is holding you back, it may just be mental chatter/fear or it may be intuition guiding you in a better direction.

I am so glad you enjoyed this video…

Thanks again for your support and presence here!

  2. So very very true about the way our minds perceive the body. Sometimes as women we have an image of ourselves that in no way match the reality of what size and shape we are. I notice it when I buy myself clothing without trying on, I always buy a large or bigger size and I get home to find it way too big. Now raising a daughter I catch myself in my poor body image ways and focus on the healthy things we do to grow our bodies and try not to pass down this warped way I was taught to judge my body.

    • Summer, that is awesome that you are conscious of your body image with raising your daughter. Cheers to you!

  3. Hi Lori,
Great tips, thank you. You have inspired me to start a “victory list” in my journal at the end of the day, it’s such a great way to stay focused on the positive.
Over the years I have realised I need to be gentle with myself. Ironically, when I try too hard to achieve something I end up burning out, freaking out and giving up. I have to gently coax myself to change. Decision by decision, moment by moment. That’s the only way I can do it. I need to be my own cheerleader and keep cheering myself on even when I fall short of perfect and am disappointed with myself. It has taken me a while to realise this. Slowly, gently, slowly, gently…..and so on and so forth 🙂

  4. The rigors of the bikini dilemma’s.   Here in Alaska, the girls when they are wearing a Alaskan bikini are fully dressed.   The sexy part is that it’s only one layer instead of three.   So us we are now able to barely make out the shape of the women in question.  It’s so exciting.

    • Wow.. that looks WAY TOO COLD! I can see how a bikini is really not relevant to where you live… as a matter of fact it isn’t relevant to where most people live. Today in So Cal I went for a walk in shorts, a tank top, and flip flops. My skin is exposed year round. I like it though… keeps me on my toes and not able to slack off too much! 😉 I’d get away with gaining 20 pounds in Alaska before anyone noticed! 😉

  5. Hello Lori  –

Patrik from Sweden here – thank you for a WONDERFUL video .. it is sooo true that most people sabotage their outcome of the future by looking down or back on themselves…

BTW – did you get your coaching through Tony Robbins ?
