Yoga Challenge: Sun Salutations Part 1

Posted By Lori on Feb 7, 2011 | 4 comments

I love to workout by playing around, dancing, yoga, wrestling with Dhrumil, snowboarding, surfing, functional training equipment, etc. My fitness goal is to be a lean green clean machine! My challenge is to make exercise a daily practice for 30 minutes minimum a day. I’d love to create some accountablity here on my blog or on this resource site: StickK

So enough about me, I’d love your feedback too! Tell me…..

What is your favorite way to workout?

What are your fitness goals?

What is your 30 day fitness challenge?

How are you going to stay accountable?

  1. >Yoga is not something I have done in the past, but maybe your sun salutation series will be a good start for me.

For my exercise routine, I have been walking almost daily, too. I aim to walk at least 5km (3 miles or so I guess) in less than an hour. In the summer, I was doing a few longer walks, too. Difficult to get outside right now with 6+" of snow and weather around 32F, but I still do it at least a few times a week.

Something else I've started doing are kettle bell exercises. A snatch and kettle bell swing gets my body burning real good in all areas. Pushups and rows complete the workout for me. I'm only doing this once a week. Two books I've read (4 Hour Body, Primal Blueprint) say not to do too much weight-lifting, so I'll probably stick to this routine as long as I'm getting results.

Always a pleasure to watch your videos, and look forward to the next one!
