10 Reasons Why I LOVE Yoga! 

  1. It is super efficient by incorporating cardio, flexibility, and strength all in one workout
  2. It can never be mastered, there is always another level
  3. It is appropriate for every stage of life. I see myself practicing yoga for the rest of my life.
  4. It requires presence which stops the mental chatter
  5. Each session completes with a feeling of peace and over-all well being
  6. It balances my body from other athletic activities and even makes me better at all the activities and sports I do
  7. It heals injuries, and gives you deep muscle work that no massage therapist could ever get to the degree that you can in a pose.
  8. It opens me up physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
  9. It takes the “fight” out of me and I feel resilient to outside influences.
  10. It has integrity and the focus is not on looking good, but FEELING GOOD.

I am by no means a pro but, I am glad I just got the board out and played around. It was so much fun to challenge my balance. Perfect for the warm summer days. I love when I just get creative am make stuff up on the fly like I did in this video.

Today’s Workout
60 min morning walk up the hill
60 min yoga
30 min or so playing around with the foam board in the pool
60 min evening walk up the hill
