How to Transform Your Life: 1 of 11

If you are feeling complacent or stuck in a cycle that you have outgrown. If you are wanting to transform your life and don’t know where to begin, this 11-part series is dedicated to you. These are the tools that helped me break free from my patterns and to create a life that I love. If a fulfilling healthy life is what you want, you are going to love this series.

I am thrilled to be presenting you with my favorite tools that I have implemented to transform my life over the past 20+ years. Today’s video is near and dear to my heart because it was the catalyst that sent me down the path of personal transformation. This practice became my life mission and purpose. It is incredibly simple and can appear too easy to be as powerful as it actually is. However, this practice brings you into the present moment so that you are operating consciously instead of out of habits that you have outgrown and are no longer serving you. Closing off from the external world and tuning into your own divine spark is what this practice is all about.

Step 1

Get in a comfortable and relaxed position. I personally love to lie down.

Step 2

Set the timer for 5-20 minutes

Step 3

Close your eyes and begin breathing deeply. Taking full inhales and exhales to clear the lungs and settle down the mind and the nervous system. To keep the mind clear I will often count the breaths and the pacing of each breath. Inhaling for a count of ten and exhaling for a count of ten. Repeating this breathwork pattern for a minimum of ten breaths.

Step 4

Return the breathing to a normal rhythm and simply rest. Surrender by saying in your mind, “Guide me now.” And then be still and allow whatever wants to express itself to come through. In the beginning, the mind can release the typical to-do’s list that may or may not spark inspiration. However, stick with it, be patient. This is not something you can rush, and it often comes when you really relax.

Step 5

When a thought crosses your mind and your heart skips a beat, or gives you a little pulse of electricity, get up immediately and do the task that you feel inspired to do.

Step 6

After the task is complete, repeat this process back to step one.

Note: not all inspired action will have a clear significance to it, some of it is simple and mundane things, but the energy in which you complete the task comes from an inspired state rather than a burdensome state. When this practice is implemented daily and consistently over the course of weeks and months you will be amazed at what you have accomplished. You will then see a clear path that is specific and in alignment with you and your path and where you are now. This is all about living from the internal world and expressing it outwardly rather than living your life dictated by the external world that leaves you feeling like an unfulfilled follower rather than a divinely inspired leader in your own life.

Challenge yourself to practice this a minimum of three times a day over the course of the week and see what surprises show up.

Pushed by Pain Until Pulled by a Vision

Posted By on Mar 28, 2012

The title of this post is actually a quote by Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith who founded  Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA. I found that it completely summed up my experience back in 2007 that pushed me out of suffering and into a state of bliss. I share more in the video below.

Here is the interview I watched that I mentioned in this video that led me to find more interviews, and watch the movie “Conversations with God” that inspired me to pull out my writings from 2007 that turned my life around,  but fear and doubt crept in and I put the writings away. I am happy to say 5 years later I am going back through the work, living it and I’ll be sharing it with you as I go along!

What vision pulls you? Have you gone for it? Have you denied it? Share your story in the comments below!

Does Life Suck? Surrender to Greatness

Posted By on Mar 15, 2012

Are you not getting the results you want in your health, wealth or relationships?

Are you feeling drained, deflated, or struggling?

When life sucks it is merely the calling within us that is having a temper tantrum because we have been ignoring it. I’d like to inspire you to stop treating the symptoms of your life, and completely let go of what you think you should be to allow what you are meant to be to flow through you.

  • Imagine healing every aspect of your life
  • Imagine waking up with enthusiasm
  • Imagine feeling deeply fulfilled in your life
  • Imagine your desires flowing effortlessly into your life
  • Imagine experiencing Heaven on Earth Now

It’s all possible. Just watch the video of me sharing my story in 2007 of hitting rock bottom which propelled me into absolute surrender. I no longer was questioning the inspired nudges. No longer allowing my mind to talk myself out of it, I was no longer procrastinating. Life felt blissful and my desires flowed to me seemingly effortlessly. Then I snapped out of it went back into my head and resistance and watched the suffering begin again.  I am re-inspired to give 100% commitment to act on the whispers throughout my day.  Join me!

We are meant to be great! Allow it to flow! This song is a great reminder to stop playing small.

We all have beauty that is begging to be expressed through us. Let’s let go and allow it to flow! This life is meant to be good. Let it be!

Science of Miracles

Part 4

Part 5

Part 6

I watched this today and felt compelled to share this with you. I know sometimes we don’t feel we have the time to sit and watch something like this, but I encourage you to find the time. It will be well spent.

Yesterday I was given two gifts from friends. One was called a “prayer box” necklace and another was a framed quote saying “All we need is love”. The timing couldn’t be more perfect to watch this film. I had my children watch it with me because I feel it is important for them to understand their own power in their lives.

For many of my growing up years of my life I felt unempowered. I felt if only circumstances were different then I could have the life I had dreamed of. Why was it I was given the hard knock life and others seems to be living it up? I would have thoughts like, ” Oh, if I was just prettier” or “If I had more money”, or “If I lived in a better community then I would have more opportunities in life”. I felt like the power to live my dreams and life were beyond me and sent like a wish in a prayer.

Now, many years later I have been fortunate enough (or blessed) to stumble upon information that left me feeling empowered. Some of these resources are:
Power vs Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior
Being In Balance: 9 Principles for Creating Habits to Match Your Desires
Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires
The Secret
What the Bleep Do We Know!?
The 8th Habit Personal Workbook: Strategies to Take You from Effectiveness to Greatness
The Science of Getting Rich: The Original Guide to Manifesting Wealth Through the Secret Law of Attraction
The Mastery of Love: A Practical Guide to the Art of Relationship: A Toltec Wisdom Book

I feel like these resources gave me to tools to apply in my life and feel empowered. It has nothing to do with race, gender, age, appearance, money, status, or location. It is all within and that sensation is priceless.
